We have one temporary Customer Service Representative position available. We are a very successful company in its 13th year of business!  If you're looking for a full time temporary position, and enjoy working with a company that is growing leaps and bounds then this position is for you!

 

Our company provides "year round" dog waste cleanup to over 1500 of customers on a weekly basis and services several thousand other customers on an as needed basis. 

 

The qualified candidates must be comfortable working in an office environment that is part of a residential home located in Eagle River and loves office dogs. If you're not comfortable with an office dog snuggling up under your work chair then this won't be the job for you.

 

The selected candidate will be working directly with the Office Manager, Operations Support Coordinator and the President of the company. Tasks delegated will be customer and staff related. Must have a personality that can multi-task, stay focused, and feel comfortable selling services to our customers.  We're not looking for a speed typer, but the candidate needs to be able to type without having to look at the keyboard constantly and be proficient. A high level of accuracy is important since there is data entry involved with signing up new customers. Must be comfortable using a computer with general small business applications such as MS Word. We can train the candidate how to use other MS Office applications, QuickBooks and our service software.

 

Hours for this position: 9:AM to 6:PM,  Mon-Fri  (Now to May 31st)

Duration of employment: Now through May 31st

Our ideal candidate:

  • Is a dog lover! (We have office dogs that help with the phones! :-)

  • Feels comfortable learning suggestive selling techniques to new potential customers.

  • Feels comfortable calling on customers regarding past due invoices.

  • Has a friendly personality.

  • Enjoys working in a smoke free environment

  • Believes that the customer comes first, but is not always right.

  • Is well spoken.

  • Has good work ethics (i.e. comes to work on time, doesn't call in sick over the sniffles, etc)

  • Has experience using a computer with Microsoft Word and QuickBooks. 

  • Has a high level of accuracy with data entry.

  • Has graduated from High School.

  • Ability to word process 30 WPM (Minimum)

  • Ability to read and understand English.

  • Ability to spell accurately with good grammar.

  • Ability to provide courteous, helpful service to callers.

  • Ability to exercise initiative and work under very little supervision.

  • Stand, sit, stoop, walk, and climb stairs.

  • Lift or move 30 lbs.

  • Is comfortable working in an office environment that is part of a residential home located in Eagle River.

HOURLY RATE: Depends on experience, but typically $15-$18/hr
