Office Admin & Customer Service Representative (Temp Position)

We have two temporary Office Admin & Customer Service Representative positions available. Position would be from now until May 31st. Requires a commitment to stay with the position through May 31st.


We are a very successful company in its 14th year of business!  If you're looking for a temporary position that will last until the end of May, enjoy working with a company that is growing leaps and bounds, then this position is for you!


Our company provides "year round" dog waste cleanup to over 1500 customers on a weekly basis and over 8000 customers on an as needed basis. 


The qualified candidates must be comfortable working in an office environment that is part of a residential home located in Eagle River and loves office dogs. If you're not comfortable with an office dog snuggling up under your work chair then this won't be the job for you.


The selected candidate will be working directly with the Office Manager, Operations Support Coordinator and the Field Service Manager. Tasks delegated will be customer and staff related. Must have a personality that can multi-task, stay focused, and feel comfortable promoting our service to our customers that contact us.  We're not looking for a speed typer, but the candidate needs to be able to type without having to look at the keyboard constantly and be proficient. A high level of accuracy is important since there is data entry involved with signing up new customers. Must be comfortable using a computer with general small business applications such as MS Word. We can train the candidate how to use other MS Office applications, QuickBooks and our service software.


Hours: 8:AM to 5:PM,  Mon-Fri 


Duration of employment: Now through May 31st

  • Is a dog lover! (We have office dogs that help with the phones! :-)

  • Feels comfortable promoting our service to customers that contact us.  

  • Has a friendly personality.

  • Enjoys working in a smoke free environment and is a non-smoker.

  • Believes that the customer comes first, but is not always right.

  • Is well spoken.

  • Has good work ethics (i.e. comes to work on time, believes in giving 100% to the job, etc)

  • Has experience using a computer in an office environment.

  • Has a high level of accuracy with data entry.

  • Ability to word process 30 WPM (Minimum)

  • Ability to read and understand English.

  • Ability to spell accurately with good grammar.

  • Ability to provide courteous, helpful service to callers.

  • Ability to exercise initiative and work under very little supervision.

  • Stand, sit, stoop, walk, and climb stairs without any assistance.

  • Lift or move 30 lbs without any problem.

  • Is comfortable working in an office environment that is part of a residential home located in Eagle River and has an office dog.

HOURLY RATE: Depends on experience, but typically $18-$25/hr
