We are a well-established pet waste removal company
that has been serving Anchorage, JBER, Eagle River, Chugiak, Wasilla and
Palmer for 18 years. Our company has approximately 12,000 customers with
approximately 1800 customers that use our service every week (year-round).
Our goal is to provide top-quality, reliable service to pet owners while
maintaining strong, long-term relationships with our customers. We are
looking for an Assistant Manager (In Training) for our operations support
who is friendly, dependable, and great at handling customer interactions
with patience and care.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, calm under
pressure, and passionate about providing excellent service. They will
assist in managing employees, managing customer inquiries, handling
complaints professionally, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role
is perfect for someone who enjoys being a leader, working with people,
solving problems, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Our current Assistant Manager – Operations Support
will be transitioning into a different position in late 2026 and we would
like to start training her replacement now so the Assistant Manager has
all the training and skills necessary to easily take over once she leaves.
Between now and when the current Assistant Manager transitions to her new
position, the candidate will be thoroughly trained in our business
operations.
Primary Responsibilities

Respond to customer
inquiries via phone, email, and social media in a friendly,
professional manner.

Handle customer
complaints and concerns with patience and a solution-oriented
approach.

Follow up with clients
to ensure satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.

Support scheduling,
billing, and account management tasks.

Assist in training and
managing customer service team members to ensure consistency in
service.

Work closely with the
operations team to resolve service-related issues efficiently.

Identify customer
needs and suggest service improvements.

Assist with field route building and dispatching.

Minimum Qualifications & Educational Requirements

High School Diploma -
required.

Bachelor’s degree relevant
to position is a plus!

2+ years in a customer
service or client relations role.

1+ years in a management
position.

Experience in a service
based industry.

Comfortable using basic CRM software, email, and scheduling
tools.
Availability Requirements

8:AM to 5:PM, Monday - Friday

During the spring snow melt season, Saturday's
would be required on an alternating schedule with other
office team members. Our spring
snow melt season usually last 8-10 weeks. The season can start as
early as March and end as late as the end of May.
