Thank you for showing interest in joining our team as a Grounds Maintenance Worker / Driver!

  • Do you like dogs and don't mind picking up after them?

  • Do you enjoy working independently?

  • Do you enjoy working outside and keeping physically active?

  • Do you own a reliable vehicle to run a daily route?

If you said yes to the questions above than this position is for you!

Generally speaking, you will get a daily route of clients that you will access through a company provided iPad, you will start from your home each day, run a route of customers to service for the day, give Buddy a belly rub (if he’s outside), quickly walk the yard, clean-up Buddy's canine treasures, double bag it, put it in their trash can and drive on to the next house. Most yards only have one week of dog waste accumulation. Average time in a yard is only a few minutes.

What's the work like?

  • During the Spring Season:

    • During the spring snow melt season, this job can be compared to the spring clean-up season for a lawn maintenance company. Lot's of shoveling, raking, etc.

  • During the Summer and Fall:

    • Once all the snow is gone our regular weekly maintenance clients are easy!  You'll go around to each clients home and clean-up the mess that Buddy has left over the past week.  Alaska summer days are awesome! All of our Technicians enjoy this time of year.

  • During the Winter:

    • If you know how to dress for winter conditions, this job is very comfortable, peaceful and simple. It can be easier than the summer since the canine treasures are very obvious in the white snow.

  • Has a reliable vehicle that they don't mind having pooper scooper tools in while they're working. We provide the following: All tools like a shovel, bucket, pooper scooper and misc. supplies such as bag's, etc. Tools and and supplies are all provided by us!

  • Have appropriate vehicle tires for the season they are driving in.

  • Enjoys working with dogs and doesn't mind picking up after them.

  • Can work independently, self-motivated and highly dependable

  • Good customer service skills

  • Has clothes for all weather conditions

  • Is physically capable of quickly and efficiently working a manual labor job (the position requires carrying bags that can weigh approx 30-50lbs, raking leaves, walking through deep snow, servicing 30-60 customer yards in a day and other tasks that would be considered manual labor).

  • Has General Laborer experience (i.e. Landscaping, construction, general outside hard labor work, etc.)

  • Has proof of insurance (Can provide a copy)

  • Good driving record (Our insurance does a driving record check)
